On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) put forth a resolution today, emphasizing its commitment to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s principles. It outlines new guarantees to be included in the party’s manifesto, with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh expected to make announcements. Additionally, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s letter underscores the party’s dedication to Ambedkar’s vision.

A committee comprising 27 members from various segments of society has contributed suggestions, reflecting a collaborative approach in crafting the resolution. The BJP is gearing up for elections in various states, notably in Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh (UP). Elsewhere, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is set to visit Bihar and Jammu, with rallies planned in West Bengal’s Baka and Alipurduar. In Gujarat, the BJP is intensifying its campaign efforts, with a focus on addressing 40 constituencies.

The party’s star campaigners, including JP Nadda, Amit Shah, and CM Bhupendra Patel, are expected to play pivotal roles in Andhra Pradesh, despite recent incidents of violence during campaigning. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is marking the day as “Constitution and Dictatorship Removal Day,” reaffirming its commitment to upholding democratic values.
