In around 2010, the Aga Khan Trust for Culture worked to fix up and improve this old complex so it would last and look better.
The sepulcher of Nizamuddin, recognized by its striking white arch, incorporates a wealthy history of development and upgrades. The essential structure was initially commissioned by Muhammad container Tughluq in 1325, taking after Nizamuddin’s passing. In this way, Firuz Shah Tughlaq attempted reclamation work on the structure, indeed decorating it with four brilliant glasses suspended inside the dome’s breaks. The marble balustrade enveloping the grave was liberally skilled by Nawab Khurshid Jah of the distinguished Paigah Family in Hyderabad.

People think that the water in the baoli is special and they go there to bathe. The Tughlaqabad Fort and the baoli were built around the same time according to legend.
The dargah is a property that is owned by the Delhi Waqf Board. Donations are gathered through the baridari system by pirzadas, who are the caretakers of the Sufi dargahs. This usually includes the family members of those who are buried at the dargah. The group, Anjuman Peerzadan Nizamiyan Khusravi, takes care of the shrine.
