Today is the last day of voting in Telangana, which is one of five states holding elections this month. Coming after Mizoram and Chhattisgarh, the assembly elections are an important event before the Lok Sabha elections next year. Chhattisgarh will have the elections in two parts. The first phase happened at the same time as in Mizoram on November 7, and the second phase happened at the same time as in Madhya Pradesh on November 17. Rajasthan had its election all in one day on November 25th.

The important campaign had Congress talking about the good things the Ashok Gehlot government has done and promising seven things they will make sure happen. The BJP responded with criticisms on topics like crimes against women, appeasement, corruption, and leaked documents.
As the dust clears after the 2023 elections in five states, people are waiting for the exit poll results. These predictions are meant to give us an idea of how voters are feeling and what might happen to political parties soon. In Rajasthan, important battlegrounds are Sardarpura, Tonk, Jhalarapatan, Nathdwara, Jhunjhunu, Jhotwara, Kota North, and Churu — all seeing important competitions.
Sardarpura, known for being linked to the political legacy of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, is now facing competition from BJP’s Mahendra Singh Rathore. Tonk has an important match between Congress leader Sachin Pilot and BJP’s Ajit Singh Mehta. In Jhalarapatan, ex-leader Vasundhara Raje wants to keep winning against new opponents.
