A 20-year-old student from India, living in the US, was held against his will, hurt, and made to work by his cousin and two other people who were also from India. The police said that Venkatesh R Sattaru, Sravan Varma Penumetcha, and Nikhil Verma Penmatsa were taken into custody at a home on a country road in St Charles County. They are accused of human trafficking, kidnapping, and assault.
The police saved the victim after someone called 911 because they were worried about them. The victim had been kept in three homes in Missouri. The student is getting medical help for many broken bones. Surprisingly, the bad people treated him very badly by keeping him in a basement for three months. He had to sleep on a hard floor and couldn’t use the bathroom.
