The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, said she is no longer with her partner, Andrea Giambruno. He received negative feedback for making sexist remarks on a funny TV show about current events. The couple were together for almost ten years and have a seven-year-old daughter.
Andrea Giambruno, a TV reporter, got into trouble because he said things and acted inappropriately while on the show. In reply, Giorgia Meloni posted on her social media profiles, “My relationship with Andrea Giambruno, which lasted for almost 10 years, is over now. Our paths have gone in different directions for a while, and it’s time to recognize that.
This news comes at the same time as Giorgia Meloni celebrating her first year as the 46-year-old leader of a right-wing coalition government. She said that her personal problems will not distract her. She also said that anyone who tries to hurt her at home will not succeed.
Before, Meloni said that she shouldn’t be blamed for what Giambruno said. She promised not to talk about his behavior in the future.
The couple first met in 2014 at a TV studio. Giambruno, who was 42 years old, worked as a presenter for a news program on Mediaset, which is part of the MFE media group. The media group is owned by the family members of Silvio Berlusconi, who was a former prime minister and a friend of Meloni.
Video clips from Giambruno’s program showed him using offensive words, making inappropriate movements, and appearing to show interest in a female colleague. Once, he wondered why he hadn’t met you before.
Giambruno had been caught on video making inappropriate remarks before this incident. Another recording was played where he talked about having a relationship outside of his marriage and suggested to his female coworkers that if they had group sex with him, they could still work together.
