When Diya Kumari became the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, she said that the BJP has more responsibilities now because the people of the state trust them. Kumari talked to reporters and said bad things about the old Congress government. She said they didn’t do enough to make things better, and there were more crimes against women and the law and order situation got worse during their time in charge. She said that the party is committed to working together to solve problems and make the state a better place for everyone.

Diya Kumari, from the old Royal Family of Jaipur, stressed the importance of working together under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. She said the party’s main focus is to make sure that the government’s plans are carried out well in the state. Earlier today, Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa promised to be Deputy Chief Ministers. Before starting her job, Kumari led a prayer ceremony to start her time in office.
The new Chief Minister, Bhajan Lal Sharma, was officially given his new job at a ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP National President JP Nadda. In the state elections, the BJP won on 115 seats.
Diya Kumari won in the Vidyadhar Nagar area in Jaipur, beating Congress’ Sitaram Agarwal by 71,368 votes. The state had an election for 199 out of 200 assembly seats on November 25. The BJP won more than half of the seats, which is 100 seats.
