Sixteen flights heading to Delhi were sent to other places because it was raining heavily in the city on Monday.

On Monday evening, heavy rain in Delhi led to the diversion of 16 flights scheduled between 6 pm and 8 pm. Of these, 10 were diverted to Jaipur, 3 to Lucknow, 1 to Ahmedabad and 2 to Amritsar.
Additionally, Vistara’s flight from Guwahati to Delhi was rerouted to Jaipur due to adverse weather conditions and air traffic congestion at Delhi airport, as reported on the airline’s social media channels air.

Despite low rainfall in Delhi and the National Capital Region, temperatures dropped slightly. However, Delhi’s air quality is still classified as ‘very poor’.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), temperatures are expected to drop another 2 to 3 degrees in northern India, indicating that winter conditions are likely to get harsher in the coming days.

The Meteorological Department has forecast increased fog in Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab from November 28. Principal Scientist RK Jenamani of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) mentioned that the current weather in Delhi is cloudy and this is expected to last for the next 12 to 18 hours. Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 25 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius respectively.
