Cristiano Ronaldo played really well, scoring two amazing goals to help Al Nassr win 4-3 against Al Duhail in the AFC Champions League. In this important Asian club competition, Al Nassr, which has former Liverpool striker Sadio Mane and Anderson Talisca, won their third straight match in the group stage.
The scoring started in Riyadh when Anderson Talisca scored a goal from outside the box in the 25th minute. Ronaldo, who is 38 years old, showed off his skills by cleverly setting up the goal with a back-heeled flick.
But, it was Ronaldo’s second goal that got a lot of attention on social media. He used his weaker foot to make an amazing shot that curved and scored Al Nassr’s fourth goal against Al Duhail. With only nine minutes left in the game, Ronaldo seemed to have the last word. He caught a long pass from Sultan Al Ghannam and kicked it excellently with his left foot while running at full speed. The goal was like Ronaldo’s famous strike against Everton, where he kicked the ball with a curved shot using his left foot to score his 15th goal for Manchester United in the 2007/08 season.
Ronaldo came back to Manchester United again in 2021, but he left the club the next year because he didn’t get along with manager Erik ten Hag.
