Telangana Election Results are being updated live. As of 6 pm, the Congress party has won 40 seats and is winning in over 24 others.

Telangana Assembly Election; the Congress is winning in 40 seats and leading in 24 more out of 119 total seats. The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has admitted they lost the election at 6 pm, with the Congress winning by more votes in Telangana. The BJP is winning in four seats.

A big change in the election results is how well Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) did when he ran for office in two areas. In Kamareddy, KCR is losing to his main rival, Revanth Reddy from Congress, by more than 3,000 votes. But the current chief minister is winning in his original area, Gajwel.
The votes for the Telangana Assembly election started to be counted at 8 am. First, they counted the postal votes and then they counted the votes from the Electronic Voting Machines. In order to win in the state, a candidate needs at least 60 seats.

In addition to the very close race in Telangana, the election results for Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh are also being announced at the same time. Voting in Telangana happened on November 30 in all 119 areas at once. 7060% of the voters came out to vote. Good numbers of people voted in Jangaon at 83. 34%, Narasampet at 83%, and Dubbak at 82. 75% However, only 39. 97% of people in Hyderabad voted. The election had 32. 6 million voters and 35,655 polling stations. There were 2,290 people running for office, including important candidates like KCR, A Revanth Reddy, and BJP’s Eatala Rajender.

Many surveys said that Congress could potentially stop KCR from staying in power. If no party has enough votes to win an election, the Congress party is making plans to protect its members and stop other parties from convincing them to join their side. This happened before, when KCR’s party convinced members of other parties to join them so they could win. As we learn more, Telangana might be on the verge of a big political change.
